Evan came on staff full-time with Tin Man after a decade in local church ministry. He has a passion for helping people discover the goodness of God in a broken world through the vulnerability of relationship. He is inspired by any person who is willing to admit that life has gotten to them, and is courageous enough to do the work of talking about it. During Evan’s time in the local church, he led Recovery Ministries, pastored churches, wrote and taught, and counseled a diverse community toward a healthier (Emotional, Spiritual, Physical) life with God, others and self.

Evan’s conviction comes from being rescued from his own addictions and compulsive behaviors by the love of God and others. Through that process (which is ongoing!), he has developed a strong belief that if healing, restoration, and hope are possible for him, then it's possible for anyone!

Through a relational and story-based approach, Evan utilizes the processes of 12-Step Recovery and the Spiritual Root System to connect with and help clients recover the heart and life God intends for them.

Evan and his wife Amanda have been married since 2013 and love the life they have together. Their son, Sage, is a constant reminder of God’s grace and love, and reminds them daily to enjoy the fullness of life!
